Dr Priscilla Mifsud Parker is the Senior Partner in charge of the Trust & Corporate Services department at Chetcuti Cauchi Advocates and a core leader of our FinTech Practice. Her specialisation in providing counsel to international clients on cross-border structuring and on various license processes provided a natural foundation for her to advise on virtual currencies and blockchain services including smart contracts, ICOs & Crypto Exchanges. Priscilla was a key member of the Chetcuti Cauchi consultation team that actively participated in the discussion fora that led to the development of the ground-breaking regulatory framework for digital innovation and virtual financial assets.
Priscilla also advises clients on investment services licensing, in banking and capital markets as well as initial and ongoing structuring of investment funds, such as real estate funds, alternative asset funds and more recently crypto funds. Her practice also consists of assisting HNWI clients with personal wealth structuring, and corporate clients in business start-up stage or with acquisitions, corporate restructurings, shareholder matters and providing day-to-day company law and tax advice to companies.
