Antonio Giannino is Amagis Capital’s Group Chief Risk and Compliance Officer, and he supervises all the risk management procedures including the development of proprietary UCITS and AIF risk management software. Moreover, Amagis Risk, a subsidiary of the Amagis Capital Group of which Mr. Giannino is Managing Director, is also the official cyber-security advisor of Enemalta. The Amagis Capital Group was founded in 2013 by a senior team of managing partners, namely Andrea Angelone (former Global Head of Equity Finance & Equity Treasury at JP Morgan), Simone Russo and Guido Miani.
Prior to joining Amagis, Antonio was teaching assistant at Bocconi University in Milan in several Mathematics and Economics classes, including Financial Mathematics and Financial Macroeconomics. Moreover, he managed several research projects for respected and acknowledged scholars at Bocconi, coordinating research assistants and applying cutting-edge statistical models. In particular, he has completed recognized research material with Professor Francesco Giavazzi, including both academic research as well as policy evaluation analyses. Antonio also held research responsibilities at ETH Zurich where he performed statistical data analyses about cognitive control capabilities and ran experimental sessions on the exploration-exploitation dilemma at the Management, Technology, and Economics Department.
He has a Master summa cum laude in Economics and Social Sciences from Bocconi University. Given his passion for technology and Fintech, over the last years Antonio became an global recognised speaker on human leaks in cybersecurity, participating in events such as RiskMinds Americas, RiskMinds Asia, RiskMinds International, and EY Malta’s Annual Attractiveness Event.
